This is still a fluid situation. We are working with the Health Department and researching other youth sports organizations to develop a set of Covid-19 Guidelines specific to each sport. These Guidelines are posted below. The season will run pending the approval of the Guidelines from the County Health Department, approval from the Town Board, and pending that there are no other restrictions from the state or local governments at this time.
An email will be sent out to previous participants if/when registration opens. If you would like to be included on that email or did not participate last year, email Recreation Coordinator Paul Jungbauer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Best Practices/Guidelines For 2020 Season
In coordination with Little League International, Little League WI District 1, guidelines from the Washington Ozaukee Health Department, and CDC, the Town has drafted best practices to follow for players and spectators. Please read and review the links below.
Note: the Town reserves the right to revise these documents during the season.
|2020 Division||Eligible Ages||Cost|
|Machine Pitch Baseball||Ages 6-8||$55|
|Player/Coach Pitch Mix Baseball||Ages 9-11||$55|
The Fall Baseball program will be at the recreational level for ages 4-6 (T-Ball) 6-8 (machine pitch) and 9-11 (player/coach pitch) for the fall of 2020. Teams are set to meet two times per week. Days of play will be Wednesday at 5:30-7pm or 7:15-8:45pm, and Saturday during the morning and afternoon with some occasional Fridays. The games will be played on the turf field at OHOW Park under the lights and the Korb Sports Complex.
This division of play will kick off the Fall Ball season with two practices the week of August 17th. The season will then transition into 10 games, concluding October 17th. This division of play will use a safety ball and a batting tee. The goal of this division is to have fun, enjoy baseball, extend their learning of the game.

Player Pitch/Coach Pitch Division
This division of play will kick off the Fall Ball season with two practices the week of August 17th. The season will then transition into 10 games, concluding October 17th. This division of play will make use of a variety of pitching methods to transition players off the pitching machine and into player pitch baseball. Coaches will be notified that the goal is to incorporate Coach Pitch, and Player Pitch methods into play during the season so all players continue to grow their skill set. The goal of this division is to have fun, enjoy baseball, extend their learning of the game.
The Town Park & Rec. Committee and Town Board took action to proceed with the 2020 season. Their decision was based upon the outcome of a Wisconsin Little League District 1 meeting, expiration of the Safer at Home Order, and the fact that approximately 400 participants have chosen to remain registered for the 2020 season following refund period. Participants and spectators are asked to follow guidelines based upon Little League International, CDC, and Washington Ozaukee County Health Department recommendations that have been distributed to participant families, will be posted at the fields, and are found on the Town website.
Note: the season may be affected by any Federal, State, or local orders or from Little League International.
The Town closed the period for the one-time exception to the current Refund Policy on May 15th at 4pm. The current refund policy is now in place. Further, those that wish to re-register after that time will be subject to a $50 late registration fee in addition to the base registration fee.
The season will begin the week of June 1st and conclude by August 8th unless Federal, State, local orders or action from Little League International prevent this. If that occurs, the Town of Cedarburg will look to condense the season, or cancel the season. Partial refunds may be issued if a truncated season occurs, minus the cost of the player uniform and hat.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.
NOTE: contact Town Hall if your child would like to participate in a division of play not shown below. There are opportunities to play in other local Little League programs.
