Testing Options in Ozaukee County
Washington-Ozaukee Public Health Department (WOPHD) has partnered with Curative Inc. to offer COVID-19 testing five days per week in both Washington and Ozaukee Counties. Testing will be conducted at the Ozaukee County Fairgrounds and the Washington County Fair Park. Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8 am to 4pm, and Tuesday, Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm.
Anyone wishing to be tested through Curative will drive to the testing area, park, and walk up to the testing van. Participants are strongly encouraged to pre-register and schedule an appointment through https://curative.com/ (please note: the website does not work with Internet Explorer).
This partnership with Curative will significantly increase COVID-19 testing capacity in Washington and Ozaukee counties. In particular, this testing option should help meet demand related to new CDC guidance that allows quarantine to end after seven days with a negative test.
- Test results are typically available in around 48 hours
- The test can be conducted as a self-administered oral swab
- A person of any age can be tested
- Curative does bill insurance. However, individuals without insurance can still be tested. Regardless of insurance status, there are no out-of-pocket costs.
