At their July meeting, the Town Board awarded $5,000 from the annual Five Corners Matching Grant program to two Five Corners businesses: Johnson's Gardens was awarded $3,500 to assist in a $12,078 facelift to their existing farmhouse, which will accompany landscaping to take place after the exterior updates are complete. Wayne's Drive-In was awarded $1,500 to assist them with a $7,470 update to their Neon lighting on the building with energy-efficient LED lighting. This is the fourth year for the program, which has now granted funds to nine businesses over that span. Click here to view the complete press release.

Registration is now open for Cedarburg Flag Football. We will feature play against other Cedarburg Flag Football teams and possibly interleague play with neighboring communities this September and October. Eligible participants are boys and girls ages 6 to 11 living in the Cedarburg area. The registration fee is $20 per child, regardless of residence. The Town league will offer a one-of-a-kind youth football experience, as we are partnering with the Concordia University football team, giving participants unique insight and interaction with a collegiate football program.
